Anton Hofland joined 2Connect as CEO in April 2011 after having established in 2010 2024Sight, an ICT Master Planning Consultancy. As CEO of 2Connect Anton is leveraging the experience gained over the last 18 years in the financial services industry. Prior to establishing his own consultancy Anton was at Arcapita, a Bahrain head-quartered Islamic Investment Bank, as Global Head of IT. Previously, Anton was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank, where he has set up a global IT security function and managed the world-wide IT support teams for the cash equities business. An expert in distributed systems technology, he designed and implemented the ICT infrastructure at Nomura International and held positions at Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers. Anton was at Newcastle University (UK) as a University Research Fellow and prior to that, he was at Foxboro Process Control. He holds a MSc. degree (cum laude) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Anton speaks Dutch, English, German and Spanish and has lived and worked in the Netherlands, the UK and Bahrain.

Rick is a founding employee of 2Connect and was instrumental in the company commencing live service within Bahrain in late 2004 during which time he was primarily responsible for the company's start-up Network Engineering, Operations, IT and Customer Service teams. Rick is now based at 2Connect's London regional office and is tasked with leading the company's next stage of development as SVP of 2Connect's international operations. Prior to working with 2Connect, Rick was the leader of Emergency Technical Support for the EMEA region for Nortel Networks. He has also held operational management positions with Call-Net Telecommunications in Canada, and DataAccess India. Rick holds a HND in Computer Science with Economics from Brunel University in London, and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. During his rapidly diminishing spare time Rick lists golfing and mountain climbing as his main leisure pursuits.

Liam joined 2Connect in July 2011 to head up the Sales, Marketing & Customer Service Departments. Having worked in the telecommunications and IT industry in both the UK and Middle East, where he has spent almost 20 years, Liam's previous experience includes roles such as Sales Manager with Kulacom and prior to that as the North-West UK Regional Sales Manager for Challenger Mobile Communications (part of the Opel Telecoms Group).

As head of the Commercial department, Liam is tasked with building globally-focused teams to support 2Connect's entry to new regional and international markets. Liam is an avid cricket fan, and plays for the Awali Taverners CC. He resides in Bahrain with his wife Andrea, and his two teenage children.

Ijaz joined 2Connect as Finance Manager in May 2007 after having worked for both KPMG and BDO in the Audit departments as an Audit Supervisor for five years. During his tenure with these industry-leading audit firms, he worked with clients from such diverse industries as telecom, banking, insurance and manufacturing sectors providing external and internal audit services, due diligence assignments and business valuation services. Ijaz is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and previously gained a Diploma in Accounting from the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) UK.
